Our Services
At Finding Freedom, we offer thoughtfully designed outdoor adventures, nature-based learning experiences, adaptive recreation, and community-based outings for people of all ages and abilities.
Our experiences focus on building confidence, independence, outdoor awareness, and meaningful connection - in the community and beyond.
Experiences take place in public community environments such as parks, trails, recreational venues, cultural spaces, and community events that are open to the general public.
Professional Standards & Safety
Finding Freedom Westchester is fully insured and built on a strong foundation of safety, professionalism, and clear communication with families, caregivers, and community partners.
Current professional standards include CPR / First Aid certification, New York State Defensive Driving certification, and a completed background check available upon request.
Every experience is approached with preparation, awareness, and a high level of responsibility to ensure participants feel safe, supported, and confident in a variety of environments.
Individual Outdoor & Community Experiences
Finding Freedom offers individualized outdoor adventures, nature-based learning, adaptive recreation, and community-based experiences designed around participant interests, goals, strengths, and readiness.
Experiences are structured, safety-conscious, and intentionally designed to support confidence, independence, outdoor awareness, and real-world growth.
Introductory experiences begin with a structured intake process to ensure strong alignment and mutual fit.
Small Group Experiences
Select small-group adventures and community-based experiences may be offered periodically when strong participant alignment allows.
These experiences are thoughtfully curated with a strong focus on safety, low participant-to-staff ratios, structured engagement, and overall fit.
Group opportunities are limited and developed based on readiness, compatibility, and the goals of each experience.
Getting Started
Every new family, caregiver, or community partner begins with a brief introductory call to discuss goals, personality, readiness, support needs, and overall fit.
Following this conversation, families and partners receive a clear overview of structure, expectations, availability, and pricing.
If aligned, the next step is an introductory experience designed to assess fit, establish comfort, and begin building momentum through a thoughtful, supportive approach.
Our Commitment
We are deeply grateful for the trust families, caregivers, and community partners place in Finding Freedom. Our goal is to create experiences that feel safe, empowering, and joyful - while giving families and support teams peace of mind.
